- En una olla ponemos a hervir aproximadamente 4 litros de agua, cuando ya esté hirviendo agregamos los elotes, los 5 dientes de ajo ya triturados y la sal
- Cuando los elotes estén a medio cocer (aproximadamente 30 minutos) agregamos los tallos de guías y las calabacitas, por aproximadamente 15 minutos
- Después de que transcurrieron los 15 minutos por último agregamos todos los ingredientes restantes (hojas de guías, chepiles, flor de calabaza y la hierba de gusanito)
